Jeremiah 17 v 5
This is what the Lord says:
“Cursed are those who put their trust in mere humans,
who rely on human strength and turn their hearts away from the Lord.
They are like stunted shrubs in the desert with no hope for the future.
They will live in the barren wilderness in an uninhabited salty land.
“But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence.
They are like trees planted along a riverbank with roots that reach deep into the water.
Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought.
Their leaves stay green and they never stop producing

QUESTIONS – WHERE DOES YOUR HOPE COME FROM?
– WHERE DO YOU PUT YOUR TRUST?
Most people find it easier to put their trust in humans and rely on them, this is primarily because they can see them and cannot see God. So they would rather put their trust and rely on Man that they can see than on God that they cannot see physically.
The bibles says in 2 Corinthians 4:18 “For we fix our attention, not on things that are seen, but on things that are unseen. What can be seen lasts only for a time, but what cannot be seen lasts forever”.  A lot of times when we are faced with a situation or a challenge, we talk to man about it before we even talk to God about it. God expects us to communicate with Him and trust Him.

Are you discouraged? Are you troubled? Are you sad? Are you confused? Are you disturbed? Put your hope and trust in God. Psalms 43:5 “Why are you in despair, O my soul? And why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God, for I shall again praise Him, the help of my countenance and my God. I want to encourage you to wait on God.

Waiting on God is putting Your Hope, Trust and Love in Him.
