The Timing of God

A child of God that has a genuine relationship with Him, who knows and understand God and is in tuned to God knows God’s timing. He understands that often the secret to success is in doing the right thing at the right time– God’s appointed time. A great designer may come out with a product that captivate the market and the talk of town, while another equally talented designer can produce a product that is better than the other one, yet fails. Why?  It’s all because of timing. The timing of God and how long we have to wait is based on how well we behave while we are waiting.

The Israelites in the book of Exodus, grumbled when Moses was leading them to the promised land,  if they hadn’t grumbled, complained, and whined the entire time they were in the desert, it would have taken a lot less than 40 years to make the 11 day journey through the wilderness. It makes me wonder how many things we have missed because of all the grumbling, complaining, and whining when God’s timing didn’t line up with our own.  God’s timing was critical in Jesus’ life. John 7:30 the leaders tried to arrest him; but no one laid a hand on Him, because His time had not yet come. Gal 4: 4 when the right time came, God sent His son, born of a woman, subject to the law.

God’s plan for His son and His children is ordered, everything occurs just at the proper time. We can wait for God’s timing by entrusting our life into His hands. Psalm 31:5 I entrust my spirit into your hand. Rescue me, Lord, for you are a faithful God. Psalm 59:9 you are my strength; I wait for you to rescue me, for you, O God, are my place of safety. God’s promise in Habakkuk 2:3 this vision is for a future time. It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled.
If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed. NLT. In anything you desire in life that is in accordance to God’s will, wait for His timing as God’s time is ALWAYS THE BEST.

God loves you!

  1. One of the hardest things to do is wait!! And harder still is maintaining the right attitude while waiting. A lot of what you wrote resonated with me! How many times have I taken matters into my own hands when I thought God wasn’t acting quick enough!

    1. Even though we know based on the word that taking matters up & not waiting on God leads to trouble, we still do it anyway??
I do wonder how many times we need to be burnt before we learn from what we have suffered(laughs)
His timing is sooo perfect, struggle free & comes with ease.
Thanking Him for The many chances we get👯👯
