Is there anything too hard for God?

We all have something that we are believing God for and yet to see it manifest, we sometimes have the problem of unbelief. Perhaps, like Abraham and Sarah, you have prayed for something for years, and you think God has not answered and Life is passing you by while you wait. You struggle with doubt as you often wonder whether He is hearing your prayers. You wonder Why God doesn’t do something? Why doesn’t He answer?

God’s word to Sarah in Genesis 18:14 speaks to us all as we struggle with unbelief “Is anything too difficult for the LORD? At the appointed time I will return to you, at this time next year, and Sarah will have a son.”

Our trust should be in God and not in ourselves. God sometimes brings us to the end of our strength so that we will trust in His ability to do the impossible. God’s word in Jeremiah 32:27 “Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh; is anything too difficult for Me?” In Luke 18:27 But He said, “The things that are impossible with people are possible with God.”

There is no Prayer too hard for God to answer. In 1 Kings 18:17-41; by nature and human understanding, it was hard for fire to fall upon the altar but it was not hard for God and Elijah’s prayer was answered.

There is no Place/situation/life too hard for God to revive. God is able to revive and restore any dead situation in your life, family, career, business, work and ministry. Let your focus be on what He can do. God’s word says in Isaiah 43:19 “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert”.

There is no Promise too hard for God to fulfil. In the book of Joshua, God promised that the wall of Jericho was going to fall, and it indeed fell. God promised that Mary was going to have a son, though she was a virgin and she did, even though it was a hard thing naturally but God being supernatural did and kept His promise.

There is no Problem too hard for God to solve. God is still in the business of performing miracles. He gave His people water out of the rock (Exodus 17:5-7), He turned water into wine (John 2), He commanded the storm to be still (Mark 4) and He raised the dead (John 11). He is still the same God and never changes so your problems are not too hard for him to solve…..

Focus on the God who is able to do all things.

  1. I struggle sometimes and it feels as if God is far from me and I say to myself oh God how long. Sometimes tears flows down but in the midst of whatever it is I’ve got one prayer that has kept me going on for years Habakkuk 3:17 Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:” Lord I will still praise you. Even when it feels like I don’t have any strength in me and sometimes it feels nothing is working and I feel so alone oh Lord please continue to give me the grace to keep going even to the very end amen. Thank you Pastor Tayo for sharing.

  2. I am fired up to believe His promises to me. For all things are possible with God and all things are possible to me who believes. Thanks

  3. Thank you Pastor Tayo for reminding us of the promise of God that He is the Lord of all flesh and nothing is too difficult for him. Sometimes also, we just need to take a step of faith to see God coming through in that area we might be trusting him. The bible says we shall decree a thing and it shall be established. That tells me if we do not decree a thing, nothing will be established and we will continue to think God has not done it. May God give us wisdom to understand Him better

  4. Jeremiah 32:27. The God of all flesh is my God. Yes it seems like the war will not end or he feels like he’s too quiet. But he’s never lost a battle and he’s always on time. Praise God for ever more

  5. Thank you lord for this article. Nothing is impossible. God give me the grace to wait patiently on you.
    Many thanks Mrs
